No idea if it’s a real 550 Spyder or not, but the handbrake location is correct.

According to Bring A Trailer it is an aluminum bodies replica.

If it was real, $160,000 would be a steal. I think you’re looking at a few million dollars for a genuine 550 Spyder.

A real one probably wouldn’t have current 7-digit throwback plates. That 547 engine alone is worth a good portion of the ask.

This is an amazingly accurate replica. The only thing that gives it away is the price. I think all of the real ones are 7 figure cars. The attention to detail on this is amazing though. I have a Beck Spyder replica that I think is great, but this is a whole other level. I wonder if that is a real engine though?

This was on display in the 356/550 corral at Rennsport V last year. I overheard someone claim it was assembled from a wrecked/totaled chassis in the 70s with spare parts. Virtually no replicas on the market have a 4-cam engine and they always have a leather boot on the shifter which is incorrect.

Does that sign say $160K?
ETA: Disregard. Just saw its aluminum body replica. Originally thought that the price was insane for a Fiberglas Beck replica...
